Naaahhhh - it's a Chrysler Sunbeam http://www.flickr.com/photos/47381765@N04/7462719554/ . (Only kidding!). I wondered about Fiat 130 for Coupe-like lights, but Granada idea looks good.

Could be a converted Volvo 740. You find them quite often in Italy for that purpose.

There's nothing that even remotely resembles a 740. Fiat 130 isn't far off.

dsl, I'm sorry to tell but apparently the color doesn't match, so no way it could be a Sunbeam, however it's a pretty close guess since it has four wheels and a big rear window, but the defunct would have to sit in order to fit in such a small car :)
Well, talking about the Granada, take a look at this photo:

It's the only one I could find where they used a sedan instead of a station wagon version of the MkII. Since these things are coachbuilt, there's barely no ressemblance between the subject and the car pictured in my example when it comes to the "cargo area", or the defunct living room if you prefer. Notice the following details: - wider, chrome line absent tail lights (which could eliminate the Fiat 130); - rectangular, small chrome licence plate's light spots on the upper side of the bumper.
Seems pretty close to me.

I agree, it's not improbable that's a Ford Granada, for example I used to see a rusty Granada hearse, used to promote a discotheque.

Aren't the rear lights still kept the same? And the ones on this one do match the Mk2 Granada's.

I entered the number in a search engine and got THIS.
Can anyone tell me what this is? (Be patient, it's BIG file)

There were a number of such granada hearses in the 70's and 80's.

Indeed, and many of them (if not the most) were bodied by Dario Casale of Bassano del Grappa.
