slim ◊ 2006-11-19 04:41	Snookie, I have another Chicago Police movie called Running Scared with Gregory Hines and Billy Crystal. They drive a 1981 Chevy Impala F41 and its disguised as a taxi cab and later it gets crushed by a trash compactor. What kind of squad cars are in the Chicago Police fleet.
Snookie ◊ 2006-11-19 19:27	We see many Chicago police movie cars. At the start of the film, the two main characters drive a aqua green, beat to a pulp 1981 Impala F41. After it is stolen, and wrecked, it is refurbished into a decoy unit, in this case, Yellow Cab 2175! This car has four stars, for it is seen through the entire film. Other cars shown, including a slew of movie cars that the CPD never purchased, including 1981 Gran Furies (like the one shown above), and 1975-1976 Dodge Coronets. A few actual CPD cars are seen, including a garage scene with an unmarked '81 Impala, and a marked '81 Impala (both F41). Other cars include 1982-1986 Ford LTD's, and 1977-1979 Impala 9C1's.
