BMW style "Kidney Bean" grill. No idea why they added it, I know BMW was the sponsor but none of the other cars where "BMW-fied"

I think it's just the newspaper decoration covering up the giant Volvo badge.

Corgi BMW-ised a Volvo police car in their cheap and nasty budget range (Corgi Husky Police Car TY87301) for no apparent reason.

I'm struggling to think of a plausible connection here, but who knows how the minds of these creative folk operate?

Hi all
For the sake of accuracy the Volvo C70 in the picture is a 2012 2.5 T5 (not 2008 2.0D as stated). I know because I was driving it!
It's actually dark blue in colour but was covered in PINK vinyl for the ceremony.
RE the BMW style grill - it wasn't deliberately BMW - just that the prop girls HAD to cover the Volvo badge - the front end just ended up with a smiley face because they were getting bored creating covers for numerous cars and thought it was fun!

Thats me in the front!

I think the cheap-and-nasty toy Ford Explorer police car I have might be from that same range...

EDIT: Nope, Realtoys: Link to "globaldiecastdirect.com" But the rims on mine were different...
