1966-69? I see what looks like a front side-marker, but none on the rear.

Probably 1966/67 due to lack of federally mandate sidemarker. But, in this case this one has optional cornering lamp package.

That makes sense.

Front end doesn't match the 1966-67 model. It's a flat-corner 1968-69 model.

It's hard to tell if it's a 1968 or 1969 but it's definitely not a 1966-67. Note the concealed wipers, front bumpers that integrate the parking lights and grille and the corniering light that was relocated to the fender while it was in the bumper extension below the fender in 1966-67.

Here's are pictures of my '67 from similar angles.

Side reflectors (or side marker lamps, optionally) were mandatory from 1/1 1968. May very well be an early MY1968.

Side marker lamps (still non-reflective) were installed on all 1968 Buicks including the very early ones made in the summer of 1967. At the front, when a car was equipped with cornering lamps (like this one), an amber bulb was integrated to the cornring light assembly and there was no separate side marker visible at the front. The rear ones were always there. So on this car, it's either not visible or not present because of the dent on the rear quarter (the hole could even have been patched if the side marker was broken in the accident...).

The parking lamps also stayed on with the headlights on all 1968 models, while on the 1967 and earlier models, the parking lights were on only at the first detent of the light switch (along with the taillights). On the second detent, the headlights turned on, the taillights stayed on but the parking lights at the front turned off.

One thing that changed on January 1st of 1968 (in the middle of the model year) is the front seat shoulder belts that became standard. on closed cars for the driver and the outer front passenger seating position. I used to have a '68 Buick Wildcat that was built on Dec. 27th of 1967 and it still had no shoulder belts (but it did have side markers).
