Aye - that's the legendary toughness of Hunters for you. They've done a fair job of swapping details over between both cars to confuse things and prevent separating them out, and colour is not a normal Rootes shade for 72-73, so probably part of the disguise. As far as I can tell both cars were GL with thick side strip, with one before March 72 facelift and one after; 5th thumb has before and after wheels/hubcaps, and I think both grille styles in various of the photos with the main having the early chrome outline blacked out to create ambiguity. |
