Why a Protection model? I checked the start of the episode and the visible plate (S376 VEV) comes back to a 540i Auto with no mention of it being a Protection model, or armoured.

It wouldn't make much sense to crash a much more expensive armoured car when you can just crash a standard 540i and claim the car is one.

Maybe they replaced it by another one for the crash, it is quite common
