Might be based on a Rolls Royce Silver Dawn (1949-55)? : http://www.dyna.co.za/cars/Rolls_Royce_51_Silver_Dawn_Grey_ssff.jpg |

A couple of years ago there was a feature in "Practical Classics" about this car, telling the whole story and that she was used in the 1950's as a delivery truck by Jack Barclay Ltd. (a RR dealership in Mayfair)before she came into the hands of John Fasal, who has written an exceptional book about the RR "Twenty". At Jack Barclay she got this body, a Wraith-Radiator, SU-Carburetter, a Mk6 Matrix, Phantom III electrics and a Bentley rocker cover. She is known as "The Green Goddess". Chassis-No is GSR51 (= Rolls-Royce 20/25 HP) |
