The plate checks out, but as I said in the first comment, from early 1997 these were fitted with a noticeable chrome bar on the grill, so this either is late registered stock from a previous model year, or a fake plate fitted to another Combo. |

Model with V-grille came in May so possible to have a 1997 model without one: Link to "archive.commercialmotor.com" This one must still be late registered stock as it was registered in August 1997. |
