Pimping prevents anything more precise than 74 Carrera. We use 930 for Turbo only but it does appear in some sources for 76+ Carrera; 74+ big bumper range (including 74-75 Carrera) all started with 918 code (which lasted until 78 when lesser versions dropped; Carrera became SC at this point which continued the 930 usage through the 84 return to Carrera name until the 89/90 phase in of 964). So there is an argument for broadening 930 on accuracy grounds, but I guess a bigger argument that it would cause too much chaos with our existing stock, and not many people notice at the moment. |
