It's a Country Squire, but I always thought the '65's had wider taillights. |

Actually, this is a 1965 Ford Country Squire. The 1966 CS had much narrower taillights than the wider ones shown above; there are several examples of the 1966 CS taillights on IMCDB to view for comparison. |

Hmm...this is still listed as a 1966 CS, but it most definitely is a 1965 CS. An even easier way to determine this is by looking at the wood paneling and then comparing it to the many 1965 and 1966 Country Squire photos posted on this site. As you can see, in 1966 the moulding wrapped around the rear wheel well. But in 1965 (as seen above, near the chipped section), the wood paneling ran in a straight line from the front wheel well to the rear bumper. There is no question this is a 1965 Country Squire. |
