And I would say more than a bit of Jensen Interceptor Convertible... http://www.hurstpark.co.uk/images/Jensen.jpg |

i am sure, it is a 69 Dodge Challenger convertible |

Dodge didnt make a 1969 Challenger....you mean a 1970. Too bad this is a 2 seater, Challengers were all 4 seaters. -- Last edit: 2006-09-14 05:42:00 |

If it isn't a Challenger, I still with Mopars 71 Plymouth Barracuda 440 (Custom hood, of course): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:SC06_1971_Plymouth_%27Cuda_440.jpg and this one IS 2 seater -- Last edit: 2006-09-14 16:56:18 |

I believe this is correct. |

Jensen Interceptor Convertible |

Lots of details do not match. And there are other cars with a grille like that I think. For me it is not closer to a Jensen than to a '70 Challenger for example (which has 4 seats, I know... but the Jensen does too...) -- Last edit: 2006-09-14 17:48:14 |

I agree with antp. Jensen is a 4 seater, and this one is 2 seater. And if you look the picture, it's a muscle car and the Jensen is the typical european '60s roadster Plus, the only Jensen than was built in America isn't ben68's picture, is this one: Link to "upload.wikimedia.org" It's a muscle car: '71 Plymouth Barracuda, and the most were CONVERTIBLES http://www.thevillagenews.com/images/photos/06-23-05-ronmintel3.jpg http://www.flickr.com/photos/jay_el/64885452/ |

Lastinpurple is right that's a Plymouth Barracuda |

The grille looks like a 71 Cuda. And the illistrators of the Simpson have also drawn a 69 Charger R/T and a 70 Road Runner in some other episodes. |

Also, regardless if it's a 'Cuda or a Jensen Interceptor, it's Mopar powered. Jensens used the same 383 big-block that the 'Cudas did. |

look at that grill... its a Challenger!! 70-71 id guess |

IIRC this show was a loose parody of nash bridges so i'm going with a 71 cuda variant |

I've owned several barracudas and challengers - This is neither a barracuda or challenger. It is a combination of several pony cars. If anything it reminds me of the Mad Max Interceptor (Ford Australia). I had a chance to see one up close recently. |

Yeah, its a 71 'Cuda. didnt draw it that well though. |
