What colour are white lines in France (if you know what I mean)? In other words is this a French road or an English road with fake features?

We have white lines on boarder like this on our roads too, but I would not affirm that is a French road though the concrete built town indicator looks realistic.
In an other hand, the plate number 125 CB 3A is aboslutely fake.
This 404 is a 1964-65 Grand Tourisme.

The DVD credits don't mention it was filmed in France, & the countryside locations look fairly British.

By the way, the name on the sign is an in-joke referring to scriptwriters Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais.
