Professional car (presidential parade car) on mid-eighties stretched Cadillac chassis (may have been a Cadillac Fleetwood to begin with, but it can't be called by that name in this configuration). |

This model had bullet proof glass and a bomb resistant underside. |

Most likely built by Hess & Eisenhardt. |

My friend bought this car at auction in '08, it is Hess & Eisenhardt, but is actually a 1984 model with an Oldsmobile 307. |

It's also the last GM passenger car built with a TH400 transmission. |

It's actually not the real Presidential limo, which, like all presidential limos, is no longer used out its official duties, and now resides in Regan's Library. This one is a very accurate replica. |

If it is supposed to be an '84, it's not a "very accurate replica" because that is not an '84 grille. I also don't see the parking lamp ornaments that 1984 models had. From here it looks like an '81 with possibly an '86 + bumper. |

Actually, with that grille and bumper trim, shouldn't this be an '87 or '88? |

O'Gara-Hess & Eisenhardt made between two and six of these replicas in 1987. Tha actual limo which also has a 87/88 front end these days never had the red reflectors or a CHMSL installed. |

It looks puny compared to the ones they've used for Dubya Bush and Obama. Though Clint does have a line saying it would take an anti-tank missile to make a dent in it. -- Last edit: 2013-11-04 19:57:38 |

If say concrete about THIS limo,It's replica of the Presidential limo 1984 year by Hess & Eisenhardt.Biggest difference between 1984 and 1987 limo's in C-pillar .For 1984 C-pillar is very " slim",not -extended,withot heraldic shield of Cadillac. With technical part 1984 was build on commercial chassie DZ 90 with 368 c. i. carburetor engine ,1987 building on GMT-Chassie C-2500 or 3500 and have truck engine 454 for heavy Suburban/Silverado. |
