 Must be a hyper-rarity. I've never seen one in real life, not a classic car meetings, nor I remember some from my childhood in the 70ies.

Hi ingo, what about the TÜV badge in green, so which year? when car is new it should be 1971
since 1980 color is repating every 6 years and green was 1982
but don´t know rythm before 1980

Ingo DE

2012-08-11 17:10

No, green was for 1970. 1971 was yellow and 1969 white (the only white TÜV-stickers appeared for 1969 and 1973) Not only buses have a yearly inspection-interval, ambulances, too.

@andrepa: ths system changed with the (orange) 1983-sticker. Since then the months on the sticker are anti-clockwise, too. The black bar around the "12" was introduced for the (pink) 1975-sticker.
The colours are not really authentic, but anyways: Link to "www.b4boberbayern.de"

phantastic, this is what i was looking for, thank you!
for e.g. no bar around 12, so this could be 1970 sticker
making the Bulli a 1968 make more than 1969
this would coincide with info they had T1 until 1968

A propos "looking for": unfortunately you are living in a boring area for that purpose, but if you could be alert for stuff like BR, SNH, ROK, etc., i would be very appreciated :)

The movie is from 1969 ;) So even a 1972-sticker is not possible.

ah, i have overseen, your answer, that ambulances have to get TÜV every year, so we have to strat again :)
and the area here is boring, not only in that matter <7;-)

It has a black internal mirror. As tore-40 has pointed out, this came for the 1969-MY.

With a disgusting dialect, too :p But close to the Veterama, this is a big advantage.

Sure, a plenty of time (visible on the 2010-pics, too http://www.veterama.de/de/5-galerie.html?gallery=451 :) Unfortunately last year I failed the chance for annother little IMCDb-user-meeting ( /vehicle.php?id=189298 ), and this year I cannot be there, too for vacation-reasons ( /movie.php?id=1004512810 )

so this will be great adventure, no risk no fun, but hopefully comeback
as IMCDb needs you!

No. There are some NGO's, which have an WWW-access (or have tried to get one). But for those it's problematical, too. Very slow, very expensive, with a detour via China.
Mobile phone and GPS-systems are forbidden. We have to store them in the agency's office in Peking for that time.
