No, I don't think so. But I was just wundering since I saw the other picture with the same car with a different colour. I thought if they used a second car, it would be done quite badly, but the repaint explains all....

 The green one looks like is a mid-1994 model. There was the 1993-early 1994 model with rectangular side mirrors, then a winter 1994 model with side markers, and last the wider kidney grill update in May 1994.

 The red one has the older 92 mirrors so if it's the same car is maximum a 92. Carmaker1 is confused about the mirrors. I will run some E34 facts;

European version (the year is Model Year and not manufacturing year)

1988 520i, 525i, 530i M30, 535i, 524td (you can see it's a 88 on they lack "happy face" on the head lamps
1989 520i, 525i, 530i M30, 535i, M5, 524td (happy face on the head lamps)
1990 518i (not for Germany), 520i, 525i, 530i M30, 535i, M5, 524td. In the spring of 1990 520i and 525i with M20 engine is replaced by the 24V M50 engine
1991 518i, 520i M50, 525i M50, 535i, M5, 524td
1992 518i, 520i, 525i, 525iX, 535i, M5 3.6, 525tds. M5 3,6 was replaced by M5 3.8 around the year brake 1991/1992. Touring was introduced in the autumn of 1991 as 520i, 525i and 525iX. M5 3,8 Touring came in March 1992, 525iX has 16" wheels that doesn't fit the other E34:s.
1993 518i (first year in Germany), 520i, 525i, 525iX, 530i M60, 540iA, M5, 525td, 525tds (Touring is available in all version except 540i (535i was made in a low amount, the last 50 were sent to Alpina were they were made in to B10 BiTurbo, 530i and 540i has wider kidneys and different hood, 540iA has airintakes in the front bumper, all versions got new mirrors, M-mirrors was an option.
1994 518i, 520i, 525i, 525iX, 530i, 540i, M5, 525td, 525tds. New for this year is 540i Touring and 6speed gearbox for 540i. In March 1994 side indicators became world standard.
1995 518i M43 (with cam chain), 520i, 525i, 525iX, 530i, 540i, M5, 525td, 525tds. New for this year which started April 29 1994 except for M5 which started early May 1994 was wide kidneys on all versions, 530i and 540i had Executive skirts as standard wile 4 and 6cyl had Executive-package as option. M5 got the same 6speed gearbox that 540i got to 1994.
1996 518i, 520i, 525i, 525iX, 530i, 540i, 525td, 525tds. Limousine was cancelled in the autumn of 1995 with the last RHD 540iA being made late in Decemeber of 1995. Touring lasted until early June 1996.

Side indicators was an option in Germany all years and was law in many country (among them Italy, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark).

3:rd brake light was an available option in Germany 1/95 before that not possible to order, passenger-side airbag was an option from the summer of 1993 (standard in Germany 1/95). Airbag was standard from MY 1993 in Germany and Sweden but you could order your 93 6cyl with M-steering wheel with out airbag.

Cars sold in Japan and North-America never have happy face on the head lights.

 It is still a 1992 or older E34. No younger E34 has elephant mirrors.
