I don't understand this rule with model origin.Why Ford Bantam also based on Fiesta is South African model origin but Ikon is not.They are never produced in Germany...

It's a good rule - the problem is the cars don't understand it. For Ikons, we should probably be aiming for wherever they first emerged - India, ZA, Mexico - unless they were a German design franchised out to whatever countries took them (which is perhaps more likely if they spring up in such diverse spots). Bantam logic as ZA is probably because they did not appear anywhere else (true?).

Yes,country where are designed model should determine model origin.So in this example (Ikon),India origin is correct,i think.Not Germany,as Ingo says.

I changed it; it was forced to DE previously, as we were considering it as a German model due to its link with the Fiesta.
