Appears to be the local police "paddy wagon," picking up a bunch of happy protesters.

I believe that LA County uses/used Crowns in actuality...It is possible that this is an actual LAPD Crown, but I agree with you in that it was made that way for the film...

Donovan .. 1 Where you can see the side of the bus ALL of them have bars or screens of some type on the windows
2. As mentioned before, this is a movie or tv show, where it can be painted to look like whatever for said movie...
3. Bumper guards mean nothing..Any bus can have them..It is the BARS/SCREENS on the windows that make them a Security Coach The bus you ride/rode to school...Does it have bars on the windows???

The show took the screens off the windows so they could wave

I give up.....Do you THINK in real life that if this was a REAL police/security bus where the bars/screens are WELDED to the frame of the bus...The operative word here being THINK, which apparently you are not doing..

If antp allowed for donations then that would never be an issue. Then he could remove the ads from the site; I personally have Ad Block Plus activated to block them. Who wants to see an ad about undergarments? There is no other site even remotely in the same universe as the amount of information for this topic given here and I have no doubt there would be sufficient enough donations. Kickstarter is similar in which financial support can be received from the interested public and not a large company or in my comparison unattractive ads.

Sandie...I am being civil, but Mr Savage is a teenager and apparently cannot grasp certain concepts...A stubborn streak...

chicomarx...I try not to do that too often..just in the case of certain people...Also if everyone who is a regular poster/contributor could donate, say 5 to 10 dollars every couple months....just a thought...that would perhaps allow removal of the ads...

You can't tell the difference between different models. You really think the filming company would repainted the WHOLE bus to make it look like a bus they could already purchase? They OBVIOUSLY took the window fencing off so they could have the prisoners wave to the people on the street.

What I DO know is that California used BOTH types of Crown Coaches, the Supercoach as shown above http://images.hemmings.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/crown_02_700.jpg and the Security Coach...

That's not really possible to put a number on that. It is so small.
But the more content in the database there is, the bigger it is. The bigger it is, the slower is the site and/or the more powerful must be the server.
In this case useless quotes also clutters the page, it makes it less easy to read.

That one doesn't have the Security Coach paint job. Security Coachs had special paint jobs

You know what. If you can find me another Crown SUPERCOACH with that same triangular paint job on the front. You can have it be a Super Coach.

Donovan Savage

If you don't respond in the next 24 hours. It will be settled that it's a Security Coach.

The bus above is a Supercoach...This link http://images.hemmings.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/crown_02_700.jpg shows another Supercoach...Note that neither bus has bars/screens on the windows...As I said before, the covering over the windows is what makes it a Security Coach....The paint scheme and bumper guards and other such ephemera have nothing to do with the type of coach it is...

Plain and simple...BARS/SCREENS on the windows are for SECURITY (i.e. to keep the prisoners in) hence the name
