To me this looks like a 1981+ Ford Cargo. Were they sold as Ashok Leyland as well? Here's a link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Ford-Cargo-Pritschenkipper.jpg . |

Ashok Leyland use the Cargo cab, but on their own chassis. |

Ok, I was wrong. Ashok Leyland do make the Cargo, but I think this isn't an Ashok Leyland anything. Both the other trucks are American, so I think the video was not filmed in India and this is not an Ashok Leyland. Looking closer, you can see that it's left hand drive and, since the other two trucks are American, I would guess that the video was filmed in the US and it's a US Ford or Sterling (?), who took over the Cargo line in the US. -- Last edit: 2012-08-05 22:26:52 |

Ford CF-7000 then, as the Sterling Cargo had another front as did the Freightliner version. |

I just watched this video. Badge was never shown. 1986 would be the first year in NA for the CF-Series. 1988 brought the largest weight class of CF-8000/CFT-8000. Early models were Brazilian built. |
