Ooh, nice find!

A matter of taste. For me it's an incredible ugly car, without any proportions. For lightyears worse than the classic Aston Martin design. And the design of other brands, too.

It's not attractive, but it is somewhat distinctive. For me the most attractive one was the Series one: /vehicle_347709-Aston-Martin-Lagonda-1975.html (though the grill is somewhat unattractive).

William Towns who designed this also made the Hustler kit car: http://www.aronline.co.uk/blogs/2011/09/25/hustler/

Oh, I'm sure many would probably find it ugly (in fact using the "love" smiley was probably a bit over the top), but I find the space-age design to be quite striking and unique. I would seek one out if I was rich.

I prefer rather: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AWS_Shopper No kidding, when I looked for my first own car, I really have thought about it.

That's how first-generation four-door Mustang should like.

Is that neccessary to be rich (for the purchasing, I mean. The running costs are indeed bearable only for rich people)? Isn't that the most low-priced Aston Martin, because the conaisseurs prefer the nicer designed models?

You'd probably have to spend quite a lot to get a decent one. You probably wouldn't want to buy a cheap one, they had lots of faults. It's a specialist car.

Like Maserati from 80s

£50,000 for a Series IV: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2807892.htm (£35,000+ seems to be the minimum). The cheap Aston is the DB7: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/4071766.htm . Even the 90s Virage (widely considered to be one of their weakest cars) fetches strong money: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3998621.htm and later ones fetch ridiculous money: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3896003.htm .

@ Antp: Here the 80s Maseratis remain fairly cheap: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3619615.htm and for IMO the nicer 90s development of the BiTurbo: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3946214.htm

£35K minimum. Yes, I think you would have to be quite well off to be able to spend that kind of money on a car you wouldn't use every day. And I like the earlier models more than the later ones which softened the design, but the early models are probably the most trouble due to the overambitious LED technology. I saw an old one in the auction tend at Goodwood Revival one year for about £8000 and it looked pretty tatty (paint was flaking off).

I like that one, I find that it looks even better in this two-tone color :)
