It looks like a 1566 (1974 - 1976) to me. |

Smaller than a 1566. |

I saw the movie. I know there's a two-way plow on it. I think it's a 766, 966 or 1066. It might even be a 966 or 1066 Hydro. |

66 Series came out in 1971. Had white cab with two windows in door in 1971, 1972 and 1973. Had red cab with one window in door in 1974, 1975 and 1976. 1976 had black stripe going over hood. 1468 was built in 1971-1974. 1566 was built in 1974-1976. 1568 was built in 1974-1976. It seems that a choice of 2-post ROPS and 4-post ROPS was available from 1971 through 1976. 966 Hydro and 1066 Hydro available in 1971, 1972 and 1973. Hydro 100 available in 1974, 1975 and 1976. The 1974 and 1975 Hydro 100 had a white Hydro stripe going over the hood and said Hydro 100 on the black model decal. http://auction.ridofstuff.com/details.cfm?ID=694247 An International Hydro tractor had the hydrostatic Forward-Neutral-Reverse control lever on the left side and the hydrostatic Low Range-Neutral-High Range control lever on the right side. An International gear-drive tractor had the Torque Amplifier control lever on the left side and the gearshift on the right side. Vigilante Force is a 1976 movie. This Vigilante Force tractor does look like it has a white Hydro stripe going over the hood and a hydrostatic control sticking out on the left side. And it is ironic that it is carrying a plow when Hydros weren’t really made for plowing. Call this tractor a Hydro 100. -- Last edit: 2012-11-04 23:08:20 |
