When the Trader replaced the ET6 in 1957 Ebro made a substantially different version (which may have been designed by Ford UK). For instance, C-series Ebros had the front axle set further forward than the Trader's, and Ford UK's smaller versions were normal, not forward control, based on the German FK series. Originally UK, then gradually evolved locally.
