1931 Cadillac; not sure if it's a V8 or V12. |

From what we can see in the first thumbnail I reckon it is a V8. The longer body suggests it is a 7 seater. We can also see that it does not have the trim between the running board and the doors which distinguish a V12. It is a Fisher body not a Fleetwood. -- Last edit: 2012-06-26 21:25:07 |

Interesting to note that someone has altered the title for this one. I tried putting the series in for the Cadillacs of this era some time ago, but someone who thought they knew better decided that they should be known as V-8s and the series used in the chassis box. There are now another 54 Cadillac V-8s that need correcting - and most of the LaSalles. -- Last edit: 2012-06-26 21:31:15 |

Whoever did a change on this car last week, I dont know, I havn´t been active here for some time now. But the other "someone" you´re referring to is of course me. There was a long debate on this matter last year on the forum: Link to "forum.imcdb.org" You still haven´t answered any questions on why denominations used by the manufacturers originally can´t be used. And now you´re busy changing this database after your personal preferences again. This is how Cadillac named the car: Link to "www.oldcaradvertising.com" -- Last edit: 2012-07-07 22:01:47 |
