Can't be a Carolina and some more up-arket models had scripts on front fenders. Therefore is my suggestion:1951 4-door Sedan |

Yes, it helps (at 1:13). I'd say she's 1954 car, some cheaper trim. -- Last edit: 2012-06-22 13:15:20 |

The film linked clip takes 1951 and 1954 out of the running since the taillamps are visible and are not of either the '51 or '54 style. As between '52 and '53, I will go with the former since I cannot see a rear fender top chrome streak or headlamp rim "wings". The side trim appears to be of the Manhattan style. -- Last edit: 2012-07-17 15:01:05 |

I watched the clip and I agree with Commander 57 - it has '52 - '53 tail lights but to me the front fenders look like 1954. Since the '51-'55 Kaisers all used the same body shell, and the front fenders bolted right on, it could be a '52/'53 that someone hung a '54 front clip on. Customizing them is not uncommon and since the movie was made in 1992 one cannot assume the car is original or stock. |
