This (like the link) is simply a Luton van body, favoured by removal companies for light but high-volume loads. |

My comment was not for the body style (yes a Luton van) but the actual body maker that added it to the Bedford chassis/cowl and both used by London operators. I thought it could be the same. However there are differences in detail so unlikely. Luton vans were first commonly made by Motor Bodies Ltd. in the 1920s for Luton's hat manufacturers transporting the bulky, but light, loads of hats to London. |

I don't think it will be possible to identify a body builder unless a manufacturer's plate is visible. Everybody and his granny have made Lutons over the years. |
