I think a Hudson Wasp or Super Wasp.

Richard, you are right, the grille is 1948/49, which makes it a Commodore Six or Super Six. Do you know the differences?

No, I don´t have good enough reference to tell the difference on them.

It is not a Hudson Wasp : the Wasp line was introduced in 1953 to replace the Super Custom. This is indeed a 1948/1949 Hudson as shown from the front.I think trim level and colour scheme would suggest a Super Six. Roof colour is different from body colour.Two-toned Commodores usually had a colour separation delineated by the sloping side molding on the pontoon sides.

Changing back to Commodore.
You can tell by the larger taillamp housings, the only thing that differentiated ALL Commodores from Supers.
Other Commodore features such as fender top ornaments were optional on the Supers. The deluxe taillamps were not.
