This body is typically called a Union City body. Don't ask me how I know. More often found on Chevrolet/GMC P30 chassis but some have Ford or Cummins powertrains. Its most likely powered by the 6.5L GM diesel and a Turbo 400 automatic. |

In fact it's very complicated. chassis: produced by Workhorse (former Commercial and Motorhome Chassis Division, sold by GM in 1997 to GVW and renamed into Workhorse, and in 2005 sold to International Truck and Engine Corporation, a division of Navistar International Corporation; but seems to be still Workhorse) body: produced by Union City Body Co. (after bankruptcy in 1993 taken by GVW, and in 2005 sold to Utilimaster) http://www.coachbuilt.com/bui/u/union_city/union_city.htm Then 1997-2005 they produced vans probably under the make Workhorse, as in this picture - http://willowsprings-illinois.olx.com/2001-workhorse-14ft-step-van-iid-245466473 Engine in this vans could be from various producers... |
