BlackMutt ◊ 2016-10-13 02:48	The car is definitely not a replica. It's a real 308GTS that was George Barris' personal car, customized (ruined?) by him. I know the gentleman that owns it today and it's actually a very tidy and well-kept car.
dsl ◊ 2018-04-11 01:42	Confirmed as a 78 GTS customised by Barris in 1981. Fortunately he did not do too much damage. Pop-up headlights removed, with new lights now behind the gold-plated grille; most other brightwork was gold-plated as well. Interior was apparently a total mess with multicoloured upholstery, burr walnut dash and trim, plus digital instrumentation, lots of LED fairy lights, a Sony TV and a huge telephone.

Skid ◊ 2022-10-19 00:01	The final thumbnail shows the seats were already modified, so I'm guessing the other interior shots were second unit shots using a different car. Maybe even shots reused from a different show.
