4th thumb shows vent grille on the hood. Was that only for turbo? -- Last edit: 2012-05-16 01:44:50 |

1987 or later basic SAAB 900 due to absence of sun roof. |

There is no such a Turbo model without the sun roof |

But the two Turbos in my links have no sunroof. (though one of the third car was an S, so there is nothing to say that this is a Turbo). Also, in the UK I'm sure most Turbos didn't have a sunroof. -- Last edit: 2012-05-16 16:58:21 |

Glass's says UK Turbo had standard sunroof only from Sept 90. |

900 S is also a turbo version, it's a low pressure version though. Therefore I renamed this car "1988 Turbo" since 1988 was the first year of the linked cars and all three have turbos. The full pressure "Turbo" have an oval exhaust tips while the non-turbo and the S have a regular round tip. You can see both the oval and round tips in Sandies links. -- Last edit: 2012-05-16 17:12:24 |

No, all 900 have that grille on the right side, fresh cabin air inlet. It does not have a ´turbo´ badge in the grille, if it is a turbo at all, it must be an LPT. -- Last edit: 2014-03-23 21:24:59 |
