:sun: Yummy. She's famous Crossley Streamline with rear-engine. Rare thing, even in 30s.

Crossley Burney registered Hertford CC in mid 1930 but not made until 1934. Only 25 made.

We have many names: 'Crossley Streamline', 'Crossley Rear Engined Streamline', 'Crossley-Burney Streamliner'. Which one is correct?

Crossley-Burney 1934 according to Georgano: "Burney Streamline saloon with 2 litre Crossley engine at rear made at Gorton to Burney design and appart from Crossley radiator much like the cars made at Maidenhead few years earlier". Crossley 2 litre Burney according to Segwick's A-Z; only three survivors, one original.

I think all the registrations were made up for the film.

Probably, or something else funny going on with this UR xxxx series. It looked vaguely familiar because in real life, UR 6751, 6752 and 9155 are 1930 Bentleys.

BGU217. Crossley Streamline. Has been in the collection at Beaulieu for many years. Not sure if it runs at present.
