I am thinking of 1971 Ford full size |

Could this be the same as the green car at /vehicle_488380-Chevrolet-Nova-1975.html ? |

rjluna.... It looks like the car in your link so its def feasible its a 1971 Ford full size. Isnt this the same hospital set [updated for time period of film] as in the Godfather where Al Pacino get beaten up by the crooked cop after visiting Marlon Brando? |

Photo is badly distorted. Can we get a better one? |

Sure. Here's a snapshot of the same scene: I don't really detect a difference. Director's intention? -- Last edit: 2012-03-27 23:03:52 |

Doesn't the car seem elongated and bent down in the middle to you? (Maybe it's just my screen.) |

^It looks that way to me as well, but maybe DePalma wanted to shoot that particular establishing shot with a fish-eye lens for some reason. (a psychological effect perhaps?) |

Totally, and it has a Lincoln oval window added, not totally uncommon for "lesser" Fords of the day. |
