As i can see,it's 6-door limo,with custom central doors.B1-pillar extended more than B2. |

How is it 6 doors with only two handles visible on this side? |

The center doors are electrically operated and can't be opened from the outside. Superior offered the Super-Six door in a very similar style, but I can't see if this is one. Looking at the questionable shape of the window frame above the center window, I don't think it is one. |

Why not have the rear doors electrically operated also? |

Because it's way easier and less expensive to use the Cadillac standard doors - the coachbuilders had to build the center part anyway, so this doesn't make much of a difference to hide the door handles and make them electric. Also, a conventional rear door and and a solid-looking stretch area gives the limousine a more formal, V.I.P.-like appearance. And a limousine without any door handles in the rear section at all probably looks less like "we carry mourners or celebrities", but more like "prisoners inside!". ![]() Edit: This could be a job by Limousine Werks of Schaumburg, Illinois. ![]() -- Last edit: 2020-12-18 09:55:26 |
