Rovinman wrote The car in the photograph appears to be a Stoewer based special, using parts from a 1928 Stoewer 8 cyl S8, G14. The singing mechanic is Renate Müller (1906 - 1937) In May 1928 Stoewer had introduced two new models with in-line, 8-cylinder engines, (designed by Bernhard Stoewer / Fritz Fiedler). The smaller of these new cars was the S8 with a 1,991 cc engine developing 45 HP. Accompanying this was the larger G14 of 3,663 cc capacity developing 70 HP. The upgraded S10 (2,464 cc and 52 Hp) and G15 (3.974 cc and 80 HP) followed soon after. (https://www.stoewer-cars.com/stoewer-ag.html)

...in anticipation of the kick to the backside Germany will soon get and as a metaphor for that which awaits the people of Stoewer's Northeastern Pomeranian (pun not intended) home in roughly ten years...

Surprised jfs didn't use the proper English word arse. ass is an Americanism, as usual for puritanic reasons.

I did think about it, but wondered if it might not be misunderstood.

FYI a støver/stövare (Scandinavian languages; Scent Dog (Eng), Laufhund (Ger) or Chien courant (Fr) ) is a dog used for hunting

It might be just a coincidence.
