On the right something for dsl. On the left maybe, too. In the middle of those a Renault 15.

Lovely place for spare wheel. Why not continental kit?

White XJ6 (S2?) on left, 1969-ish Rover 2000 P6 on right, rare for Italy.

Well, the same question I had, when I saw the 1977 Moskvich 2140 of my fellows in the DDR. Its trunk was an absolute impudence -too flat, the bootlids opens only for a little gap and the lying spare wheel needed the left half of the space. :/
The constructor has deserved stingers until he loughs (to use North German slang)

Well, I think that plate can be placed on tire cover or on extended bumper.)

Maggiolone in Italy (for 1302 and 1303).
