archi87 ◊ 2006-08-14 00:08	Mercury for sure, I would say a 1955 Custom 2-door sedan. The white car on the right could be a 1958 Ford.

archi87 ◊ 2006-08-14 11:23	I'm sorry, but I really not believe it's a Montclair. There is not enough chromed trim on the side. Look for example at the doors, on compare it to the picture shown by trucker. No trim under the two windows. That why I believe it's a Custom, the less expensive series offered by Mercury that year. -- Last edit: 2006-08-14 11:54:44
pilou ◊ 2006-08-14 14:17	Yes , having enlarged the picture, this side view shows that it is not a Montclair but a Custom : Customs had no stock rear skirts and chrome rocker panels as on the Montereys.It also seems to be a two door sedan and the only pillared two door sedan offered by Mercury was in the Custom line , all other two-doors being hardtops.
