Eleanor from the first was completely destroyed cosmetically. It still runs,and you can see it at the pedersen automotive mueseum. So this is not the original.

They used 2 Mustangs, 1 for "beauty" shots and another for the stunts. This may be the "beauty" one

They do refer to the car several times as Eleanor.

one problem with it being from the first movie. look at the bumper and lower front valance. they are the 73 versions. biger bumper and there is no turn signal in the lower alance which has a much smaller profile. and one more thing. where are the hood pins? This one was probably the first clone of the real Eleanor.

Definitely not the "beauty shot" 1971 Eleanor from the original movie. This is a genuine '73; therefore, an Eleanor clone.
