1967-1969 Belgian built, made for D, AZ. 1967+ by new grille; pre 1970 because there are no round front indicators; Belgian built because of orange rectangular front indicators, light grey painted headlamp housings, extra safety clips on the front of the roof; made for D because of the specific repeaters on the C-pillar (French cars had here bigger indicators, other Belgian built cars had here a small parking light). If 1967 the colour would be Rouge Cornaline (AC 419), but I think this is the slightly less sparkling 1968+ Rouge Corsaire (AC 403). |

I'm not sure these name were more used commercially in France and elsewhere than in Germany, but probably more used for technical documents. Possibly these could go to chassis code, but since they are used since so long, maybe not worth changing everything. |
