The main theme of process improvement in Rolls-Royce is continuous improvement, whereby changes are added incrementally. The use of Lean along with Six Sigma has opened many opportunities to best serve their customer. Robust design method helped the company improve product quality and continuous productivity.” While this is concerned more with manufacturing process than car design it illustrates the company’s philosophy in respect of change.
