 Is it a mid-life S2? From these pictures I wonder if they re-torched a burnt wreck?

 Yes - the car was already burned out before it was set alight here.

 I'd guess this as about 1981 928 S from wheels and lights - similar to eg /vehicle_448184-Porsche-928-S-1981.html .
