I agree that it might be a [W111] as it has five stripes on the grill, compare with four for the [W108]. But I don't know how you, and plenty of others here on Imcdb, can see it's a 220 S in particular? As far as I know there's no difference between 220, 220 S and 220 SE from outside (apart from some chromed wheelrim embellishers that can easily be removed). And further more; from 1965 there were 230's as well. Production numbers should be evenly dispersed between 220 and 220 S and slightly fewer made for the 220 SE. Please remember that these were expensive cars for its time, and many should have been vary happy indeed if they could afford a 220 at all.
