Didn't the Ultra series have different taillights styling? |

This is a 1991, just the one I used to have. The 1992 Ultra models all had a "supercharged" badge on their deck lid (about where the dealer badge is on this one) and they had redesigned door panels. the 1991 Park Avenue (and Ultra) door panels look like those that were later used on the 1992+ LeSabre: Full width wood grain molding running above the armrest and door pull behind the armrest. The 1992 and newer Park Avenue models had their woodgrain trim stopped at about half the door panel and the rest was covered by soft material (leather or vinyl?). The door pull was moved in the extended black part that matched the instrument panel texture next to the door-mounted headlight control (on the driver side) and the temperature control (on the passenger door). Here's the only picture I found of my 1991 Park Avenue Ultra door panel, the black trim doesn't extend as much as in later models and there's no door pull in it either. Yes they did. This one has the 1991-92 Ultra taillights. The regular Park Avenue didn't have the clear lens above the recessed taillight lenses and it also lacked the horizontal reflector strip integrated in the chrome molding at the center of the taillights. 1993-96 Ultra models had similar taillights but the horizontal reflector strip was moved below the taillights and there was no horizontal molding on the clear lenses. These are the taillights on my former 1991 Ultra. PhilR, please, use thumbnails for forums. Thanks. -- Last edit: 2011-12-01 21:13:17 (vilero) |

Ahh. Now, I remember the extra clear lens on the taillights. Thanks for refreshing my memory |

This car is a 1991 model, not 1992. |
