You nail it, ingo. The shape of light bulb did give away compare to European version where they use the GLS (Globe Lamp Shape) shaped bulb different from American bulbs. Here is an example of American shaped bulb at Feit Bulbs compare to European shaped bulb at ALTEREGO 40W. PS.
