Wickey, like you, in this case I would identifie the radiator as the one of a Rolls one.

I´ve checked it today, as I added this episode - and unfortunately (for my memory - as I really remember it as a rolls :D ) - it seems, that robgeelen is right

A car looking like this one using the vintage UK plate number NUU 774 was used in an episode of MacGyver Season 2 (1986) Episode 1 "Silent World" driven by the bad guy in dreams of a deaf woman.

Nice big picture, are you a MacGyver admirer like Patty and Selma :D (just a tip, on this site we prefer to post thumbnails or small images in comments rather than larger ones like that ;) )

 Truth be told, the image isn't even necessary as I think most of us know about MacGyver.

Forget the cretin, look at the car. I, for one, have no knowledge of this person, and am pleased about it.

1. NUU774 does not appear in my list of Bentley R-types.
2. It is lhd, so it is unlikely that it would have had a 1953 London registration as original, although not impossible.
3. There are eighteen NUU registrations carried by Bentley R-types, but not 774.
4. It is not on a MkVI, either, although this is definitely an R-type body.
5. Those whitewall tyres ruin the look of a well restored car.
6. I have also looked for other NUx 774 combinations, There is none.
