Kadett E. The one which was reborn as Daewoo Nexia... |

It's actually the Daewoo version. The main difference is the car being a hatchback, while having the rear doors of the 4-door saloon Kadett. The bumpers are also different, too. Now, the name. It's either Le Mans or Racer (Nexia is the export name of the 90's facelifted version). |

I hadn't noticed that. Original Kadett hatchback for comparison: /vehicle_24172-Opel-Kadett.html The Kadett doesn't have a window after the rear door but the Daewoo version does. Perhaps Daewoo wanted to have the extra window. |

Model origin: Germany, Built in: Korea |

This should be Origin Germany built is S.Korea but this is not a Daewoo LeMans. The LeMans name was only used in S.Korea and N.America. This was filmed in Bulgaria. I don't know what the model name would be though as this Opel Kadett derivative had so many different model names. Daewoo LeMans (S.Korea Only) Pontiac LeMans (N. America Only) Asüna GT/Asüna SE, Passport Optima (Canada Only) Daewoo Fantasy Daewoo Racer Daewoo Pointer Daewoo 1.5i Does anyone know what the bulgarian version would be called?? |

Exiv96 was right in his 3rd comment, it is Racer or Le Mans (acc. to google it seems that both names were known in BG) - anyway let's make it Racer. Name Nexia/Cielo was used since 1994/95 facelift. Also I would say that it can be origin Korea - it is different than the Kadett hatchback (again see the Exiv comment). -- Last edit: 2009-09-10 20:43:57 |
