rjluna2 ◊ 2010-11-09 21:19	The 1300 badge was dropped after 1966 model year. We have 1500 engine only starting 1967 model year until in the 1970's. We don't call those model numeric on these [Typ 1] in our market after the 1966 '1300' badge.

Sometimes in the late 70ies it became officially, because since then the local nicknames as Käfer, Kever, Beetle, Coccinelle etc.... were written on the sales brochures.
