Genuine issue mid-1968 plate, but 2+ years too late for a DB5; DB6 Volante launched Oct 66. -- Last edit: 2012-12-05 14:42:21 |

But the car in the thumb is something different. An Aston Martin DB5 Convertible perhaps? |

What Karmann?? |

Ok - everything looks Aston-ish. Possibly 2 cars - both convertible - some shots have brown hood, others red hardtop. It's not a DB6, but could be DB5 Volante or hybrid 1965-66 Short-chassis Volante (http://www.astonmartins.com/db4_5_6_s/short_chassis_volante.htm ). 1967-8 F plate is a year later than I'd expect. |

It's all the same car, but some footage are VHS quality (probably from longer version) and colour looks different... |

It's DB5 convertible with a rare hard top |
