^Before 1981 it's always a Continental. I wonder if this is the same 75-76 Lincoln Continental Stretched Limousine, by Moloney Standard Coach Builders I I.D.ed the other day? /vehicle.php?id=446370 http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle.php?id=447382 -- Last edit: 2011-11-06 03:41:51 |

seems like the grand leader has been treating himself nicely. |

In this case, the Great Leader Kim Il Sung was no longer around to enjoy it. |

For him a Cadillac was bearable. For his son not. Her prefers always Mercedes Benz. |

Kim Jong Il's funeral was held today. Would anyone like to try identifying the hearse (it's a different American imperialist limousine)? Link to "www.guardian.co.uk" http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-16343295 -- Last edit: 2011-12-28 13:57:53 |

^The actual hearse is another 75/76 Lincoln, you can tell by the wider b-pillar. But I think the other one with the giant picture is the exact same Lincoln seen above. |

Correct - '75 Lincoln, and the conversion was done by Moloney. To my knowledge, the North Koreans have at least seven of these; two Moloney Executive Limousines - one with an opera window (and no driver divider - the car shown above and Kim Jong-Il's funeral picture car); one without an opera window (with a divider; Kim Jong-Il's casket car); one Moloney Executive Town Sedan (Kim Jong-Il's wreath car and the second shown in the procession linked below), one 4-door convertible, and three standard examples, according to this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xt8PZNSoKGc&feature=related -Kurt -- Last edit: 2012-01-03 03:14:53 |
