johnfromstaffs ◊ 2011-11-04 15:03	There was never a Cowley version of the MO Oxford saloon, although the name was used for the commercial vehicles. The first BMC Cowley saloon was a stripped out version of the Oxford Series II, and the Cowley 1500 a similar variant of the Oxford Series III. The MO in the picture is indeed a late one, carrying the modified radiator grille introduced for the 1953 model year.
