Bob Dieck identified this as Double Phaeton, but for 26-27 (assuming that it's a 26-27) I have only found Cadillacs Series 314 either Phaeton or Sport Phaeton inside the Custom series. The Sport Phaeton seems got dual-cowl
and folding secondary windshield and the car of the picture look lacks of it. 26-27 Cadillac Series 314 Phaeton?

Double Phaeton is a curious European term which usually seems to be applied to what is commonly known as a touring car or tourer. Phaeton as used by Cadillac and others is just a flash name for touring car anyway. It came into more commmon use in the late 1920s and 1930s when open cars were more of a lifestyle vehicle whereas before then there were very few closed cars and open cars constituted the greater percentage of most car makers' preduction.

The car in the picture here has had a few modifications - like the side lights on the fenders and the Cadillac script on the side of the hood. The style of headlights seen on this car were first used for the 1928 models. It is hard to tell what size wheels this car is on. The 1927 models used 21" and from 1928 they were on 20s.

I think this car is a 1929 model (Series 341-B) as it seems odd that they would replace the cowl lights with fender lights. The 1929 to 1931 cars had fender lights anyway, and of a style that was easily damaged. It is not a 1927 car - they had much coarser hood louvres, this car has the fine louvres seen from 1928 on.

Regarding the body style it is hard from this angle to tell the difference between Phaeton (7 passenger) and Sport Phaeton (4 passenger). The Sport Phaeton body is shorter.

Looking at this car again I think it is a 1929 Seven Passenger Touring (Fisher body, style 1182) car like this one - /vehicle_165515-Cadillac-341-B-1929.html - compared with the Phaeton like this one - http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/513/valmis515tm0.jpg/ - /vehicle_109563-Cadillac-Phaeton-341-B-1929.html
