I agree, you can seen the seam line. Definitely a vinyl top not a soft top. |

It does look kind of Cougar-ish, but the Cougar's optional vinyl top extended down onto the A-pillars, while this car's appears to terminate at the top of the windshield. I think Julian has the right idea.
