1962 Chevrolet Suburban stretched I think - about the last year with dual headlights. Seems some '62s had dual lights and some had singles. It is not a 1961 or earlier though as it has the wrong front end. -- Last edit: 2011-10-23 21:54:03 |

I have seen a couple conversion in the Dammann book showing from the early 1960s and I think this one is done by the Stageway Coach of Cincinnati |

Here is an example I found at /vehicle_235144-GMC-Suburban-1962.html |

1961's were the last year Chevy C-Series pickups, Suburbans, and Panel Trucks had quad headlights, and they never had that chrome bar over both the headlights and the grille. This is the GMC Suburban converted into a limo, and by the hood and windshield, it is a '62. |

Yes, that's definitely a GMC all right. |

No love for the '64 Olds cop car in the background? Update: never mind, I must've overlooked it. -- Last edit: 2011-10-24 00:47:15 |

Built by Armbruster & Co. of Fort Smith, Arkansas. "Stageway" was only the distributor, but they didn't build airport limousines. |
